*Bradley Grant Harrison is a recent graduate of the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point. He was born on May 25, 1997.

Bradley’s parents, retired USAF Major Bernard Harrison and wife, Bridget, along with grandparents: the late Walter Gaines of Motown’s The Originals and his wife Barbara, made sure Bradley accomplished his dream of attending West Point.

As a matter of fact, he entered West Point in the fall of 2015 as a member of the Class of 2019. He graduated on his birthday with one of the most culturally diverse graduating classes in West Point history!

During his years at USMA, Harrison participated in various academic, music and sports activities. He was honored to be selected to study abroad in Poland-Auschwitz, which sadly, still has the dark stigma for being the site of the largest Nazi concentration and death camp during World War II. This study made it possible for him to speak at the Polish Embassy and share what he’d learned from that experience. This opportunity alone exemplifies why West Point is successful with developing strong leaders.

In addition, Harrison played the trumpet as a member of the West Point Spirit Band. This group would perform stadium standards during the Army football games. What an awesome experience it was, especially when given the chance to travel nationwide with the incredible Army football team! Go Army Beat Navy!!!

Furthermore, Harrison participated in club sports-Taekwondo and the swim team.

All in all, we are proud to announce that Bradley Grant Harrison – having been commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army, with a B.S. degree in Computer Science – will now serve in Field Artillery with the 82nd Airborne, at Fort Bragg, N.C.

Go Bradley!!
