*Royal insiders claim that while Meghan Markle understands that Kate Middleton will become Queen when Prince William becomes King, the former actress doesn’t want to “bow down” to her in the meantime, RadarOnline reports.
The Duchess of Sussex is said to be “fighting for equality” under Queen Elizabeth’s rule and her efforts are apparently breaking royal tradition.
“Meghan and Harry feel that the rules and regulations in connection with Royal protocol are antiquated to forward thinking Millennials,” a source explained to the outlet.
“Meghan and Harry respect tradition but want the freedom to do their own work and promote their causes without being held back by any constraints,” the source said about the royal couple, who welcomed their first child, a son, last month.

“This is the real point of contention and it has nothing to do with Meghan versus Kate or Harry versus William,” the insider said about the family feud between Harry and William.
“Meghan has big ambition and lofty goals and feels it is unfair that her unrelenting work ethic is being stifled because the others can’t keep up with her,” said the insider.
“It’s not a competition to Meghan, it’s about working hard and delivering results and that is what she is laser focused on,” the source insisted to Radar.
Meghan is expected to “make a huge comeback after her maternity leave ends,” added the tea spiller. “You will see her everywhere and she is already booked out through 2021.”
Markle made her first appearance since introducing baby Archie to the world at the Trooping the Colour parade on June 8. As previously reported, the former “Suits” will guest-edit the 2019 September issue of British Vogue — which is considered the biggest issue of the year as it sets the tone for fall and winter fashion trends.
According to an Us Weekly source, Meghan will also write an opinion piece, “bringing a selection of female change-makers on board to write their own personal essays.”

To accompany the piece, the California-native will appear in “new photos” for the publication “that haven’t been taken yet.” The photoshoot will reportedly take place at Frogmore Cottage, so there’s a possibility that Prince Harry and baby Archie will be involved.
