O.J. Simpson Says He’s Living Drama Free in ‘No Negative Zone’

*25 years after the grisly murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman, O.J. Simpson says he is now living a drama free life, one he has dubbed “no negative zone.”

Simpson tells The Associated Press he nor his children want to recall that tragic June 12, 1994 night – when Nicole and Ronald were killed and the beloved Pro Football Hall of Fame hero became a murder suspect.

“We don’t need to go back and relive the worst day of our lives,” Simpson said. “The subject of the moment is the subject I will never revisit again. My family and I have moved on to what we call the ‘no negative zone.’ We focus on the positives.”

Simpson has maintained a low profile since his release from prison in October 2017 after serving nine years for a robbery-kidnapping conviction in Las Vegas.

“I believe in the legal system and I honored it. I served my time,” he says.

As for life in sin city, “The town has been good to me,” Simpson said. “Everybody I meet seems to be apologizing for what happened to me here.” His older daughter, Arnelle, lives with him much of the time.

“I’ve been to Florida two or three times to see the kids and my old buddies in Miami. I even managed to play a game of golf with them,” he said. “But I live in a town I’ve learned to love. Life is fine.”

Meanwhile, Ron’s father Fred Goldman says “I’ll have a large smile on my face when I hear the news’ of Simpson’s death.”

In a civil trial in 1997, the Goldman and Brown families were awarded a $33.5 million wrongful death judgement against Simpson, who was found not guilty on October 3, 1995 for the deaths of Ron and Nicole.

The families claim they have received “under several thousand” from the settlement – as they are unable to touch Simpson’s $300,000 annual pension from the NFL, the Daily Mail reports.

“He gets to breathe every day. That’s more than Ron and Nicole ever have had for 25 years,” Fred told DailyMail.com. “He is the negative zone. He has no concern he took two lives. He is a low-life sociopathic murderer.”

Adding “ I don’t think he has an ounce of soul or remorse. How people can associate with anyone of that low-level.”
