*Would you believe that the actress who put up a billboard to get Tyler Perry‘s attention, got her wish even though Tyler admonished her for making bold move.
The actress, Racquel Bailey, appeared on TMZ Live and said her plan worked after all because she ended up getting an audition. She says Perry’s team reached out to her and asked her to submit a tape.
Keep in mind that the entertainment mogul took to Instagram to go in on Racquel … saying the stunt was the third time someone had spent money for a billboard to get his attention.
On the other hand, he gave her props … and a dig: He appreciated the passion, said the stunt’s not a good look and closed out saying he has no doubt she’ll make it one day.

We also learned that Perry was actually familiar with Bailey’s work. She appeared in 2 episoded of HBO’s “The Night Of.” Perry was impressed. Hmm, you could argue that that’s the reason she got the audition.
Meanwhile, Raquel Bailey didn’t get all up in her feelings because of Perry’s rebuke. Nope, not at all. If anything, she says it gave her more motivation.
oh yeah, if you’re an actor or business person or otherwise and you want to get Tyler Perry’s attention, you might not want to try the billboard route now that he’s told you it’s a BIG TURN OFF for him.
