*Cardi B is tapping into her roots as a ratchet stripper to make her film debut in the Jennifer Lopez-produced “Hustlers,” and she’s giving fans a taste of her character: New York City stripper Diamond.
On Saturday, Cardi shared a selfie from a wardrobe fitting for Diamond, showing off her surgically enhanced body in a neon bodysuit of sorts, sky-high heels and nude fishnet stockings.
“Y’all ready for DIAMOND to come to a theater near you this fall? HUSTLER MOVIE!” she captioned the pic. As you can see in the image above, Cardi’s buttocks and ankles are swollen as a result of complications from her cosmetic surgeries.
As we previously reported, the “Money” rapper joins a cast which includes Lopez, Constance Wu, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, and Julia Stiles.
According to Deadline, the movie is being helmed by Lorene Scafaria, who adapted the script from Jessica Pressler’s 2016 New York Magazine article “The Hustlers at Scores.” The story centers on a group of former strip club employees that plot revenge against their Wall Street clients.

Pressler describes the tale as “a modern Robin Hood story for you: a few strippers who stole from (mostly) rich, (usually) disgusting, (in their minds) pathetic men and gave to, well, themselves.”
An excerpt from “The Hustlers at Scores” reads:
If the client Samantha reached out to expressed interest, she’d have Marsi or Karina meet him out. They’d wine and dine him, then the others would show up, and then, when he was drunk on alcohol and feminine attention, they’d steer him toward one of the clubs from which they had negotiated a lucrative percentage of his spending. Then they would proceed to run up his credit card as far as they could push it.
Of course, it didn’t always work. Sometimes they’d go through the whole performance and the guy would be too tired to go out; they would offer him drugs for extra energy, but he would be too lame to take them. In the face of such situations, Samantha had come up with the innovation that was making her rich: a special drink spiked with MDMA and ketamine.
JLo gave fans a peek at her own character, Ramona, back in March, in an Instagram photo showing her rocking a tiny pink bikini (see below).
“I’m a hustler baby… I just want you to know…” Lopez captioned the shot. “#Ramona on fire ? On set and in character for #hustlersmovie#stxentertainment.”
“Hustlers” is set to hit theaters on September 13.
