Spoiler Alert! Anthony Mackie, the superhero Falcon in “The Avengers,” bangs Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Aquaman’s nemesis Manta in Netflix’s “Black Mirror,” Season 5’s “Striking Vipers.”
There were gasps galore at the Strong Black Lead summer event on the Skylawn Rooftop at Embassy Suites in New York for the screening of “Striking Vipers” when the two men locked lips.
Danny (Mackie) and Karl (Abdul-Mateen) are gamers and haven’t seen each other for 11 years. When Karl shows up to Danny’s birthday party, he gives him an advanced version of the game “Striking Vipers,” the fight game they always played.
When a device is attached to their temples, the game becomes a VR experience for Danny and Karl. But once inside the game, the Virtual Reality fighting turns to passionate sex.
By the way, Danny is married to Theo (Nicole Beharie), who is trying to become pregnant with the couple’s second child. Needless to say, Theo’s efforts to procreate are hampered by her husband’s newfound sexual habits.
