*“Basketball Wives” star Tami Roman secretly married her longtime boyfriend Reggie Youngblood in Las Vegas last summer.

The couple reportedly obtained a marriage license on August 17, 2018, and E! News reports that they got hitched soon after because a marriage certificate was also issued the same day.

News of their low-key marriage has stunned many fans, as Tami and Reggie have not commented on their marital status on social media. The reality star and pro athlete have been together since 2013 and the challenges of their relationship have been explored on BBW, specifically their 17-year age difference (she’s 49 and he’s 32).

Back in January 2019, Tami dished with Entertainment Tonight about getting married and admitted that she could see herself walking down the aisle again.

“We’ve talked about it. We’ve kicked it around,” she shared. “We’re really good. We’re in a good place and I don’t think we need to put any pressure on ourselves about having that piece of paper and when the moment presents itself, we’ll jump out there and do it.”.

Their age difference and starting a family together were pressing issues they addressed during couples therapy on season 5 of WE tv’s “Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars,” which aired in 2015. Tami was worried that Reggie wanted children and she might not feel the same way.

“What I’m saying to you without sugar-coating it, like — I’m afraid,” Tami told Reggie. “I love you and I do feel like I want to spend the rest of my life with you but at the same time, if we engaged and we plan a wedding well it’s like, you haven’t had kids. You want children, but what if I’m like, ‘I don’t want no kids.’”

Roman also explained that she was afraid of getting married again because she was not down with going through another divorce. She was previously married to former NBA star Kenny Anderson, with whom she shares two daughters, web-series personality Lyric Anderson and hip-hop artist Jazz Anderson.

Will Tami’s marriage be addressed on the new season of “Basketball Wives”? You’ll have to tune in to find out with the series kicks off on June 19.
