*Nipsey Hussle made it no secret that he was a well-known member of the LA Crips street gang and now they’re looking to help his legacy live on for generations to come.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, the Crips have registered “The Marathon Continues,” for use in a variety of services, including “Arranging and conducting youth sports programs.”

The application was reportedly filed by the Crips holding company, Crips LLC, on May 16.

Among the other services listed for Nipsey’s catchphrase, the Crips included, “Developing educational manuals for others in the field of community organizing, gang prevention” and “gang intervention.”

The application also mentions entertainment services to be provided by celebrities, comedians, rappers and “community organizers” from both the Crips and the Bloods.

An attachment in the application also mentions a documentary titled “The Marathon Continues,” that is slated for a summer 2019 release on “all streaming platforms.”

The Crips first registered their LLC in 2018, along with the Bloods street gang, who registered Bloods LLC.

A press release previously noted the rebranding of the organizations with a focus on uplifting the brown folks living in South L.A.

Oddly, Nipsey never obtained a trademark for “The Marathon Continues.”

The beloved rapper was fatally shot outside his South Los Angeles clothing store on March 31. Since then, warring gangs have held talks over possible truces, the Guardian reported.

According to the publication, dozens of bangers from sets including the Rollin’ 60s and the 8 Trey Gangster Crips (who have been at war for decades) – have come together in the days after Hussle’s murder to bring peace in the streets.
