WE REMEMBER/Larry ‘Flash’ Jenkins Dead at 63: Actor Starred in ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’

*Remember actor Larry “Flash” Jenkins from “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off?” Unfortunately we have to pass along the fact that he has died.

The actor, who also played a husband on “Edtv,” passed away from a heart attack on Thursday in Los Angeles, according to reports. he was 63.

Not only was Jenkins an actor, he also got busy behind the camera. He was also busy as a producer and director for numerous projects.

Most recently, according to People, Jenkins was working on two films called “The Gospel Truth” and “Anna Lucasta,” both of which he wrote, directed, produced and starred in.

He was also running two production companies: Flashworks Productions and Gold Coast Productions.

On the personal side, from 1984 to 1991, Larry was married to Michele Jenkins, and from 1997 to 2009 was married to Jean Coleman Jenkins. He had a son, Jeffrey. They resided in the Hancock Park section of Los Angeles, California.

Jenkins was a part of the worship group of West Angeles Church of God in Los Angeles. He had worked with Bishop Charles E. Blake and participated in many church activities, including church basketball team games.

Jenkins is survived by his son, Jeffrey.
