*Kansas City Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill has been suspended from the team less than 24 hours after audio emerged of him threatening his fiancee over an alleged child abuse incident involving their 3-year-old son and his broken arm. At one point, he is heard telling his baby mama: “You need to be terrified of me too, bitch.”

A child abuse investigation involving the NFL star was concluded after Johnson County district attorney Steve Howe said he couldn’t prove which parent abused the child. But then the audio was released and soon after, Chiefs general manager Brett Veach told reporters on Thursday that Hill was suspended from the team, Yahoo reports.

“As soon as the draft concluded, after the last pick, I had the chance to call Drew Rosenhaus [Hill’s agent] and we decided that at this time and for the foreseeable future, Tyreek Hill will not take part in any team activities,” he said.

The audio was reportedly recorded by Hill’s fiancee, Crystal Espinal, in early March, as an “insurance policy” — and then a friend passed it to KCTV in Kansas City, TMZ reports.

KCTV has released the audio — and the tape is reportedly now in the possession of the District Attorney’s Office.

Here’s a partial transcript of the recording (via TMZ):

Crystal Espinal: “He is terrified of you. And you say that he respects you, but it’s not respect.”

Tyreek Hill: “He respects me.”

Crystal Espinal: “He is terrified of you.”

Tyreek Hill: “You need to be terrified of me, too, bitch. That’s why you can’t keep a f*cking man.”

Crystal Espinal: “He started crying & you were like, ‘Shut up, shut up, stop crying, stop crying.'”

Tyreek Hill: “Right.”

Crystal Espinal: “And then he kept crying because he was scared. He’s terrified. You grabbed onto him somehow or he fell? 1 of the 2.”

Tyreek Hill: “I didn’t do nothing.”

Crystal Espinal: “Then why does he say, ‘Daddy did it.’? Why?”

Tyreek Hill: “He says Daddy does a lot of things.”

Crystal Espinal: “A 3-year-old is not going to lie about what happened to his arm.”

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell commented about the situation to ESPN’s Sam Ponder — saying: “When you get the facts then you make a decision about how it fits into our personal conduct policy, but you don’t rush to judgement and you don’t make a decision without having those facts.”

The tape emerged a day after prosecutors declined to press charges against Hill and Espinal because they could not prove which parent injured the child.
