*Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles, took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce plans to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at how Destiny’s Child was created with a musical based on the R&B hitmakers.

“Survivor: The Destiny’s Child Musical” is headed to Broadway, London’s West End, and on a world tour, says Knowles, per TMZ.

According to the report, the musical will be told from Knowles’ perspective, as he was the group’s co-creator and manager.

“I want to pull back the curtain,” Knowles wrote in a statement on his website. “I feel it’s time to give the world an opportunity to hear, see and feel the victories and failures that I’ve had as a husband, father, and manager who risked everything in pursuit of fulfilling dreams—those of mine and others.”

“Survivor: The Destiny’s Child Musical” will explore all the good, bad and the ugly of the group’s rise to stardom and and the sacrifices Knowles had to make on the road to building his musical empire.

“Ultimately, the story shares the message that building a dream takes sacrifice, even at the cost of everything and everyone you love,” the statement reads.

Knowles is collaborating with writer, producer, director Je’Caryous Johnson, whose most recent stage productions include, “Redemption of a Dogg,” a musical based on the life and music of Snoop Dogg, and “Set It Off Live,” based on the 1996 crime drama starring Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and Vivica A. Fox.

In related news, Beyonce dropped her “Homecoming” LIVE album on all streaming services on Wednesday, and her 2016 visual album “Lemonade” is also now available on Spotify and Apple Music three years after its release. The music star took to her Instagram Story on Monday to launch the #BeforeILetGo challenge by promoting the hashtag with a bee and heart emoji.
