Tamera Thinks She Was an Even Better Talk Show Host When She Was Pregnant

Tamera Mowry-Housley: I think I was a better talk show host when I was pregnant! I don’t know why! I guess, you know, I actually had more focus…

Loni Love: Yes, you were.

Tamera: Yeah! She was! I mean… she was. I was! You even told me. You were like, “Wow. Tamera, you’re really good right now.”

Loni: I was surprised that you held up.

Adrienne Houghton: I felt like you were just speaking your mind.

Jeannie Mai: I would imagine, I mean tell me, but emotionally, how did you feel different? Because this show requires a lot of emotion and a lot of presence to be in the moment and to deal with the ping pong ball of the conversations, to hold – stand your ground –

Tamera: For some women, in some weird way, I had more focus. And when you have, when you’re carrying a baby, you feel like Superwoman. So when I was sitting here, I wasn’t just doing it for myself, she was a part of the process.

[The Real audience applauds]

Tamera: Like, Ariah was with me, do you see what I’m saying? And it was the best job ever because all I had to do was sit!

Loni: You had to think, though, too. And your thinking was a lot clearer when you were pregnant with her. You were a little mean to me, but I got that…

Tamera: I do not remember that!

Adrienne: It made for an interesting conversation here at the table, I felt like you were just like, “Look, I’m pregnant, I’m gonna speak my mind!”

Loni: I will tell you this though – she didn’t care!
