Why Loni Was Hesitant To Put Her Relationship On Social Media

Loni Love: But the problem with social media, and this why you have to be careful when you put something out publically that you’re dating somebody is because when the breakup does happen, then not only do you break up, then your fans break up with that person. And you have to be careful.

Tamera Mowry-Housley: And they have to deal with that.

Loni: And they have to deal with that. And so, that’s just something we have to learn how to adjust to. That’s why I really didn’t want to publically put out my relationship, because, you know, just so happen that if we break up, and now, you know, it’s gonna  – you gonna have to deal with that issue.

Jeannie Mai: What made you decide to share James publically with us? Which I love, because it’s so – I’ve known you for six years, Loni, and I’ve never heard anything private. And I know how happy you are because of how open you are.

Loni: He asked me to do it.

Jeannie: Huh?

Adrienne Houghton: Really?

Tamera: He did?!

Loni: So he was like, “Well, we’re always going out,” so I was like, “Ok, we’ll I’ll just post…” You know. I didn’t think it would catch on like this though – y’all are crazy out there, ok?

Tamera: No! They just love you!

Jeannie: No, you’re not crazy, you’re not crazy!

Adrienne: They’re just happy for you!

Jeannie: It is because the Real Fam – you know me, you know what I’m talking about – we love you so much, we love seeing you in love!

Loni: I appreciate that.

Jeannie: Yes!

Loni: But, I don’t plan on breaking up anytime soon, it’s just that if it does, then you have to deal with the public scrutiny of, “Ok, now we gotta deal with that.”
