Fans Slam Miguel Over Offensive ‘How Nipsey before Trump?’ T-shirt

*Miguel was forced to post and delete after sparking outrage over a t-shirt that suggests the president should have been killed instead of rapper Nipsey Hussle.

The R&B hitmaker rocked the shirt in a video posted to his Instagram page.

“How Nipsey before Trump?” read the black text across the front of the shirt.

Many fans were quick to call him out for implying that Trump should be assassinated, as noted by SandraRose. Others, however, want to know where they can buy the shirt.

One Instagram user wrote “you need attention we get it, sorry for the way your life is going.”

Miguel has since deleted the post, but The Blast reported that he was also seen wearing it at Coachella over the weekend.

Nipsey was gunned down in broad daylight outside his Marathon clothing store off Slauson Avenue on March 31.  His memorial service at The Staples Center last week was a star-studded event, where his longtime girlfriend, actress Lauren London, Snoop Dogg and Stevie Wonder were among those who spoke during the 3-hour service.

Following news of the rapper’s passing, Miguel took to Instagram to send love to the Nipsey’s family and friends.

“Heavy. Sending nothing but love and condolences to Nipsey’s family, friends, Lauren, loved ones. Man had a lot of positive things he was working on for his community and overall consciousness not to mention always solid energy when we crossed paths. S**t is wild we’re the same age. Heart breaking.”

The man suspected of shooting Nipsey, 29-year-old Eric Holder, has pleaded not guilty to one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and one count of firearm possession by a felon. He faces life in prison if convicted on all charges. Police believe a personal grudge and not gang ties led to his death.
