Tiger Woods: After 11 Year Drought Golf Superstar Wins 5th Masters in Augusta – WATCH

*Heeee’s baaaaack! And he’s wearing that green jacket again.

Yep, it took 11 years, but on Sunday, Tiger Woods won his 15th major and fifth Masters championship with a back-nine charge at Augusta National.

Woods, 43, was tied for second going into the final round on Sunday at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia, but pulled into the lead on the back nine and won as his mom and girlfriend looked on.

It’s Woods’ first Masters title since 2005 — a record 14-year gap. Gary Player went 13 years between two of his Masters wins, according to the AJC.

On the 18th green, the gallery lost it as Woods sunk his final putt to win the tournament. Tiger’s mother Kultida Woods and his girlfriend Erica Herman embraced him as he walked off the green.

Another way of putting his win in perspective, is that it is Woods’ first win at The Masters since his father Earl Woods, who introduced him to golf at the age of two, died from a heart attack in 2006.

Woods has also gone through well-documented personal and injury issues.
