*Jennifer Hudson is bringing down the hammer on her ex, and father of her son, David Otunga. The academy Award winner says he needs to get a job ’cause she’s not here to make his house payments.
On the other hand, it seems that Otunga thinks that just because he’s her sperm donor, that she should grateful and shouldn’t have a problem paying his housing costs.
Would you believe Otunga claims he was the main one taking care of stuff, monetarily, back in the day, but Hudson counters that he was often on the road with the WWE.
In court documents obtained by The Blast, Hudson makes known that her ex was trying to pursue “a career path identical to hers as evidenced by his promoting himself for his role in ‘Madea’s Family Funeral,’” which she says debunks his claim her career made her less of a parent.
She goes on to say that it’s not a good idea to give Otunga primary custody and she “denies that her working and David either not working or professing not to work makes him more fit to personally care for the child in the City where the child attends school.”

“To accept David’s proposition that because he is present, he is a better parent would be to do a disservice to working parents in general and to Jennifer in particular.”
She also calls into question his ability to raise their son in a safe, consistent and loving environment.

It seems like the main thing that gnaws at Jennifer is the idea of paying for Otunga’s housing costs when, as she says, he’s capable of doing it himself … if he got a job.
“Nothing entitles David to live in a home identical to Jennifer’s,” she noted.
Jennifer simply feels she has no duty to support his grown, but lazy arse and on top of that, she “denies that the child support should extend to housing subsidies for David when the parties were never married.”
Here’s the bottom line for Jennifer Hudson as far as David Otunga is concerned:
“Having a child with a celebrity should not be the basis to treat David like someone who has given birth to a child and who has no means of supporting the child. Jennifer is the one who gave birth to the minor child, who had the minor child with her as she traveled prior to the difficulties the parties experienced in their relationship.”
The Blast also reported that Hudson and Otunga were set to go to trial later this month, however they agreed to postpone to try and reach a settlement. A new hearing has been set for next month.
