*Whenever Tim Norman (of the “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s” reality TV show) is in the news it’s usually not a good look for him. With that in mind, Tim Norman is making news again and it’s not a good look for him.
One of the landlords for his Sweetie Pie’s restaurants is suing him because he hasn’t paid back rent that’s amassed to the tune of over a quarter of a million dollars.
According to court documents, Kensinger Properties filed a lawsuit against Tim Norman and the company behind Sweetie Pie’s Restaurant, reports The Blast.
According to the lawsuit, the restaurant in question, that Norman took out a lease for was Sweet Times by Sweetie Pies in Houston.
The bottom line is Kinsinger Properties is accusing Tim Norman of breaching the agreement and claims he owes a total of $254,019.76 in back rent and other unpaid fees.
They are suing for the unpaid balance plus interest.
But wait! Like we alluded to up top, Norman has other leagal issues he’s dealing with in Harris County, TX. He was charged last year with misdemeanor assault by the District Attorney. He is accused of assaulting his former restaurant employee named Horace Hodges.
The trial is set to begin later this month.
