Will Trump’s Black Supporters Help Him Win 2020 Presidential Election?

*Donald Trump’s most vocal Black supporters were front and center in Washington this past weekend at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

The minstrel show known as Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson (AKA Diamond and Silk) reportedly thanked the organizers for inviting “two conservative black chicks” — before mocking reparations.

Conservative grifter Candace Owens was also present and she once again called on Black folks to escape Democratic plantation.

Their unapologetic support for Trump was greeted with thunderous applause, according to msn.com.

At CPAC on Saturday, Trump praised Owens, congratulating her on an upcoming wedding and noting that she is part of a group of young activists who are fighting “unbelievable anger” from the left.

“You have the courage to speak the truth. To do what is right and to fight for what you believe. And keep doing it,” Trump said.

Days before the event, Trump’s former fixer, Michael Cohen, testified before a Congressional committee that the president is a racist who once said that black people were “too stupid” to vote for him.

“I don’t believe the president said that,” Owens said in an interview on Friday. “The second you put him in front of a crowd of black Americans, they love him. They walk away and they say, ‘he’s amazing.’”

Many will argue that the support from Black conservatives is evidence that Trump’s critics are wrong that he is a racist.

Owens, it seems, has discovered that her particular hustle is not successful unless she’s nursing the bruised egos of conservative white males. As the organizer of BLEXIT (the so-called Black exit from the Democratic party) she addresses zero issues that Black folks are passionate about and she is quick to slam people of color (mostly on the left) to appease her primarily white base. Owens, who has called Maxine Waters “stupid” and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “absolute filth” was one of Brett Cavanaugh’s loudest supporters.

While Owens and Diamond & Silk consider Trump’s rhetoric to be gospel, there are Black Republicans who believe the president has no interest in helping the culture, such as Harold E. Doley Jr., 71, is a wealthy longtime Republican who opposes Trump.

He describes Kanye West’s appearance with Trump in the Oval Office last year as  a “bad and embarrassing minstrel show.”

“People look at that and say, ‘I don’t want to be a part of that,’” Doley said.

Trump reportedly received 8 percent of the Black vote in 2016 and he has pledged to win 95 percent of Black voters by 2020, the report states.

“In the same way that the Left put Trump in the White House with their absurd smears and libelous articles. So too, will they ensure that #BLEXIT becomes a reality by 2020. Bookmark this tweet, kiddos,” Owens wrote on Twitter last month.
