*21 Savage has made financial literacy an important part of his brand, and now he’s taking his money managing tips to the next level by teaming with education nonprofits JUMA and Get Schooled to launch the 21 Savage Bank Account Campaign.

The rapper made the announcement via a brief video that reveals how, each month, he will release a new badge on Get Schooled’s website with financial advice: March is all about “Budgeting & Saving,” April focuses on “Investing,” and May will school you on “Credit vs. Debit.”

His new campaign comes shortly after he was detained then released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement for being in the U.S. illegally from the United Kingdom.

21 Savage gave his first interview to “Good Morning America” following his release last month, during which he spoke about the circumstances of his arrest.

“I was just driving and I seen guns and blue lights and then I was in the back of a car and I was gone,” he said, noting that the arresting officials said, “We got Savage,” prompting the interviewer to ask if the situation was set up beforehand. “It was definitely targeted,” he says.

Savage also addressed speculation that his recent performance of “A Lot,” with lyrics changed to reflect the country’s so-called border crisis, is what sparked him being targeted by ICE.

“My lawyers think that,” he said. “I don’t really know, I can’t really say. I would see why people think that, but I really can’t say.”
