Baltimore ‘ULMII’ Entertainment Conference Celebrates 20 Years of Community Service

*In 2019 the “Uplifting Minds II” entertainment conference celebrates 20 years of community service in Baltimore and Los Angeles. The free entertainment conference starts the year off in Baltimore Saturday April 20, 2019 from 1 – 4pm at Security Square Mall (6901 Security Blvd, 21244).

It is presented in partnership with The Baltimore Times and Security Square Mall. “ULMII” offers a panel discussion on the business of entertainment and a national talent competition of vocalists, songwriters, dancers and actors, where a winner in each category walks away with over $15,000 valued in prizes.

Those who have participated in “ULMII” have come back years later to thank the event’s founder, Eunice Moseley, for their successes. The free conference has an impressive success record of helping to launch the careers of some of the industry’s most known artists today, such as Grammy Award winning Miguel, actress Naturi Naughton (STARZ “Power”), songwriters/producers Featherstone (Dru Hill’s “I Should Be”) and actor RoShon Fegan (Disney’s “Shake It Up” & “Camp Rock”/ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars).

Maybe the longest running entertainment conference in Baltimore, ”Uplifting Minds II” was founded in 1999 by Eunice (www.ThePulseofEntertainment.com) while Promotions Director at The Baltimore Times to introduce a younger audience to the newspaper and to give young artists a reason throughout the year to practice and hone their artistic talents. The event was so popular nationally that she immediately included annual dates in Houston, Atlanta and Los Angeles. The “ULMII” conference offers a panel discussion on the entertainment business by notable industry executives and artists, a national talent competition of inspiring artists and a talent showcase of former winners or panelists.

The Saturday April 20th event will be hosted by former Heaven 600 radio personality/comedian Doresa Harvey and DJ Rick (GSE). Panelists include Consul Paul Gardner, II of TheGardnerLawGroup.com; artist manager/author Dr, Kerri Moseley-Hobbs (Anthony-Michael.com); award winning producer/performer V.I.P.
