*NBC is gearing up for their mid-season premiere, while some of your favorites have already returned the network still has more to come.

At NBC’s mid-season premiere event we spoke with many of the actors from shows such as “Chicago Fire,” “Super Store,” “Good Girls” and new shows like “The Village” and “The Enemy Within.”

The show line up this season has a good balance of drama and comedy series. We spoke with actors Retta (Ruby on “Good Girls”) and Reno Wilson (Stan on “Good Girls”) about what fans can expect on the second season of “Good Girls.” More drama, more crime says Retta.

“You’ll see The Hills try to muddle through all the lies I’ve told,” she adds. Wilson jumps in saying, “This season we test the phrase ride or die.”

If you are a fan of this show get ready for a lot of unexpected events.

Speaking of unexpected events one show that is used to that format is “Chicago Fire.” Those who are familiar with this show know that they have many surprising events each week and it’s not just the emergency calls they go on it’s the events in their personal lives as well.

Kara Killmer (Sylvie Bret on “Chicago Fire”) hints at major drama happening between her character and her love interest. “They’re presented with a challenge that’s specific to their work, his work and hers.” As mentioned before there are new shows that are premiering this season.

“The Village” starring Lorraine Toussaint (“Orange is the New Black”), Warren Christie, Michaela McManus and more is a show which centers around a group of people who live in the same apartment complex and are more like family than neighbors.

“It’s about family, how we make family,”  Says Toussaint.

NBC’s spring line up looks pretty interesting and entertaining, check your local listings for all show times.
