Michael Avenatti Has Third R. Kelly Sex Tape; Claims 2008 Child Porn Trial Was ‘Rigged’

Michael Avenatti

*Famed attorney Michael Avenatti took to Twitter on Saturday to reveal he was in possession of a third sex tape that allegedly showed singer R. Kelly with an underage girl.

“Update: We have become aware of the existence of a third tape, that allegedly shows further acts of sexual abuse of an underage girl by R Kelly, which we are presently working to recover and turnover to law enforcement,” Avenatti tweeted.

The news came after he dropped a bombshell last week of the existence of another sex tape that allegedly showed Kelly having sex with yet another underage girl, believed to be 14-years-old.

Avenatti announced that he turned over the newly surfaced sex tape to the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago, which could lead to an indictment of the superstar in Illinois.

Both tapes are not the same as the 27-minute long tape from 2002, which reportedly showed the entertainer urinating on a teen girl. The tape resulted in Kelly being charged with 14 counts of child pornography in 2008 but he was found not guilty on all counts. In a tweet on Sunday, Avenatti claimed the trial was rigged.

“We have now uncovered how R Kelly was able to gain his acquittal in 2008: We have discovered substantial evidence that he and certain enablers engaged in systematic witness intimidation, evidence tampering, physical threats, and payments to witnesses. They rigged the trial,” he wrote.

The celebrity lawyer is best known for representing porn star Stormy Daniels in a lawsuit against Donald Trump. On Thursday, he tweeted that he’s been working hard since last April to bring down R. Kelly.

“We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that this predator is brought to justice,” he tweeted. “As a father of two teenage girls myself, I have the utmost faith and confidence in Ms. Foxx and her staff to ensure justice is done.”

Avenatti is reportedly working on the case without pay.

“Due to the importance of ensuring justice is finally done in this matter and because we are deeply concerned that Mr. Kelly has not been held accountable for his sexual abuse of young African-American girls, whom are especially vulnerable, we have done so on a pro bono basis,” his Thursday statement said. “Importantly, it has now resulted in the discovery of significant new evidence conclusively establishing Mr. Kelly’s illegal sexual assault of young girls.”
