Earlier this week, Cardi B popped off in an Instagram video about how she was “sick” of the criticism that her Grammy win had sparked. She noted that she “worked her ass off” to record debut album “Invasion of Privacy” then deleted her IG account before returning on Wednesday evening.

“Ok so I’m back from retirement to announce I have a brand new song coming out Friday at midnight with @brunomars . #twogrammywinningartist,” she wrote.

Responding to the post, one fan wrote: “Welcome back, GRAMMY WINNING ARTIST!!! We love you!!!“

In the wake of the criticism over her history making Grammy win as the first ever solo female artist to emerge victorious in the Best Rap album category, Cardi received support from pop stars Chance the Rapper and Lady Gaga – who hailed her as “brave”.

“It is so hard to be a woman in this industry. What it takes, how hard we work through the disrespectful challenges, just to make art,” wrote Gaga.

“I love you Cardi. You deserve your awards. Let’s celebrate her fight. Lift her up & honor her. She is brave.”

As we previously reported, a Cardi insider spilled to SandraRose that “friends and family are concerned about Cardi’s mental health and her general well-being after she was heavily criticized for winning a Grammy.”

The insider says Cardi “had a meltdown” after reading social media comments from critics who believe she didn’t deserve to win a Grammy over rappers Travis Scott and Pu$ha T.

“She’s taking time off to reenergize” said the source who is close to her management team. The insider said someone remains with Cardi “24/7” to watch over her.

Cardi B previously teamed with Bruno Mars on the 2018 mega-hit “Finesse.”
