the real crew (01-28-19)

*On Monday, Jan. 28, the ladies of The Real discuss co-host Jeannie Mai’s 40th birthday party and ask about her relationship with rapper Jeezy!

They also talk about Cardi B’s Instagram photos and wonder if now that she is more successful in her career, she is required to keep her posts to a higher standard. And that video of Bradley Cooper performing with Lady Gaga – co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley is not sure she’d want her husband looking at another woman like that!

Later, actor Dulé Hill stops by to chat about his role as Nat “King” Cole in the upcoming play Lights Out: Nat “King” Cole. And as the child of parents who came to this country from Jamaica, he shares his thoughts about immigration laws and how he thinks they need to be handled with “heart.”

Jeannie and Jeezy Don’t Have a “Label” To Define Them!

Loni Love: Let’s get to what we really want to get to.

Adrienne Houghton: What happened the next day? That part. Ok! Well, the next day, my girl, actually Malika posted an afterparty picture with the caption “3s Company…”

Tamera Mowry-Housley: You look amazing!

Adrienne: And the picture features couples Malika and O.T. Genasis, Lori Harvey and Trey Songz, and then it was Young Jeezy and our very own Jeannie Mai!

[The Real audience applauds]

Loni: Can we put the picture up again!

Jeannie Mai: Loni!

Loni: It’s couples, it’s couples right?

Adrienne:  You look beautiful, you look really beautiful.

Loni: That’s what we’re doing here?

Tamera: Girrrrrrl…

Adrienne: No, ok, so Jeannie, that’s the question everyone’s been asking all weekend –

Tamera: Mm-hmm.

Adrienne: Are you and Jeezy making beautiful music together?

Loni: Mmmmmm….

Adrienne: I do, I do, I do, I do.

Jeannie: Dammit Malika, can’t we all be just chillin’ without having to explain how we’re chillin’? I can’t even… No, Malika is my girl… Look, you know that I’m multi-dating, right? And Jeezy and I hang out, and he’s very special to me, so we don’t really have a label to define what it is we’re doing. We’re just having a good time together, you know?

Tamera: Oh, ok!

[The Real audience applauds]

Jeannie: Honestly!

Loni: I see someone’s been taking my advice!

Jeannie: Completely! So Real Fam, you know I always keep it a little too real at this table. I promise you that when there is that one special boo, you will be the first to know from me, unless Malika goes TMZ on me again!

[The Real audience applauds]

Loni: I like it!
