Cardi B Headed to ‘Vegas! Residency at Palms Casino Resort Announced

If you haven’t heard, On Wednesday, the Palms Casino Resort announced that Cardi will kick off her first residency this spring at KAOS, a dayclub and nightclub said to boast an “amphitheater-style complex,” which is slated to open in April, according to the Associated Press.

Cardi, 26, will be the company of other rappers like G-Eazy, Kaskade and Skrillex, among other performers, who will have residencies at KAOS. The venue also reportedly features a rotating 360-degree DJ booth.

The new year looks bright for Cardi, who scored five Grammy nominations, including album of the year for “Invasion of Privacy.”By the way, will also perform on music’s biggest night, Sunday, Feb. 10 at the Garmmys in Los Angeles.

And while some fans are thrilled with the news, others aren’t. They think it’s too early in her career to be doing a residency. When someone commented that she’s only hot right now and in a few years her hype may die down, Cardi’s comeback was …

Meanwhile, in other Cardi news, she’s turning heads in a sneak peek for her Pepsi Super Bowl commercial.

In the spot, she taps her red, white and blue sparkly, long nails against a rhinestone-adorned Pepsi can in the preview, which dropped on Wednesday, January 23. Cardi, dressed in a checkered, America-themed blazer, laughs while sitting at a booth before saying her signature word, “Okurrr.”

On Wednesday, Pepsi confirmed that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper will join Lil Jon in making cameos for their Super Bowl 53 commercial, which stars Steve Carrell. In another sneak peek that aired on Wednesday, the Office alum, 56, sits in a diner laughing Opens a New Window. while reading what appears to be a script for the ad.
