Don Lemon from CNN Doubles Down on Claim That White Men Are ‘The Biggest Terror Threat’

*A while back, during a discussion on-air with Chris Cuomo, Don Lemon had commented about the migrant caravan saying that white men – particularly those that were of the far right were the biggest threat to America.

Well CNN had reacted to this comment by sending him a memo which warned him about any further discussion on the topic from him or the whole network. It appears as if Don Lemon missed the memo or blatantly chose to side step the warning as he doubled down on his previous claims quite recently.

He rambled on further saying that people believe that the biggest threat is actually something else. It is the group of people that keep marching towards the border as if an immigrant threat was imminent. He continued saying that the last time immigrants made a move into the country; a couple hundred far-right individuals had reached the scene and intended to not let anyone into the border. However, most of these people had been ushered out way before they even reached the border crossing.

He even went on to cite the ethnicity of the suspects that were involved in the massacre at the Pittsburgh Synagogue and the shooting which erupted at the Kentucky grocery store. Both of these events are still being investigated but Don Lemon went forward with his verdict. He said that all these threats emerge from the radicals which are found in the far-right.

Even though this has angered a lot of people inside and outside CNN, Don Lemon asked everyone to put their emotions aside and take a cold hard look at all the facts that surrounded these events. “The evidence is overwhelming.”

He didn’t just stop there. He proceeded by citing some references to previous investigations which included that of 2017 conducted by the Office of Government Accountability. The report as Don Lemon put it, clearly states that all these acts of domestic terrorism were propagated extremists from the right wing.

Even though more people died in attacks by Islamic extremists (119 vs 106), the vast majority of deadly attacks in this country from 2001 to 2016 (62 vs. 23) were carried out by far-right violent extremists,” Lemon said of the findings.

As a conclusion of his brave attempts at getting the truth out to the world he said that those people who are angry are missing out on the whole point of his speech. He explained himself with a mic drop of a statement.

“We don’t need to worry about people who are thousands of miles away. The biggest threats are home-grown.”
