*Mo’Nique is making some serious money moves going into the new year, as the comedian has announced that she will be starting a residency at the SLS Hotel in Las Vegas in January 2019.
“Getting ready for my residency in Las Vegas at SLS hotel. Starting January 10, 2019,” she captioned an Instagram video of herself at a photoshoot.
“Ohhhhh baby,” she added. “Let’s laugh out loud together. Love y’all 2 life.”

Earlier this year, Mo asked fans to boycott Netflix for racial and gender bias after the streaming giant offered her a measly $500,000 for a comedy special.
“I couldn’t accept that low offer, because if I did … I couldn’t sleep at night,” she said back in January. “If I accepted $500,000, what does Tiffany Haddish have coming? If I accept that, what does the black female comedian have coming? Because what they’ll say is, ‘Mo’Nique accepted this and she’s got that.’ So what do they have coming?”
