Keith Sweat: ‘I’m Still Getting That Bag’ as ‘King of R&B’ [WATCH]

*TMZ caught up with Keith Sweat backstage Saturday at the V-103 Winterfest concert at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, where the singer was asked to confirm if he is the true King of R&B, right. But the “Make It Last Forever” singer bit his tongue around Jacquees (who was also in attendance).

Last week, Jacquees sparked debate online after he crowned himself as the reigning King of R&B on Instagram to his more than 3.5 million followers.

“I just want to let everybody know that I’m the king of R &B right now – for this generation,” the Decatur native said in a short Instagram video. “Jacquees the king of R & B. I been feeling like that.”

Jacquees chimed in on the debate (again) … saying he’s this generation’s reining R&B champ — while giving Sweat his props.

Meanwhile, Dave Chappelle has added his two cents to the “King Of R&B” debate.

“The King of R&B, hate to say it, pees on people,” Chappelle stated at the 20th anniversary of Kardinal Offishall’s celebrity holiday party in Toronto.

As noted by hotnewhiphop.com, he goes on to clarify himself by adding that “R. Kelly is the king of R&B,” before breaking into the introduction to Kelly’s “Bump n’ Grind.”
