Robin Thicke is Back with Release of New Single ‘Testify’ – LISTEN!

*Diamond selling, 5x Grammy-nominated recording artist, actor and entertainer, Robin Thicke, returns today with the release of his brand new single “Testify,” a heart felt, emotionally transparent r&b cut produced by both Robin and long time collaborative producer Pro J.

“Testify” marks Thicke’s first musical release since  2016’s “Deep” feat. Nas and “One Shot” feat. Juicy J and acts as the debut push from his new partnership under Thicke Music/EMPIRE. With more new music on the horizon and whispers of a new album in 2019, Robin sums up his return quite simply by stating: “when I made this record I wanted to sing my whole truth and lead off the new album singing my ass off.”

“Testify” comes in the midst of a vulnerable period for Robin, who wrote the record at his home in Malibu which recently burned down due to the California wildfire crisis. The anticipation of new music and returning to his fans keeps Robin energized about his tenacious career as well as his new role starring as a celebrity panelist on “The Masked Singer,” a singing competition show that airs January 2nd, 2019 on FOX. To round out his year of return, Robin will be performing on New Years Eve Live in Times Square duringSteve Harvey’s FOX special, airing 12/31 at 8pm ET.

About Robin Thicke
Robin Thicke has established himself as one of the most respectedsinger songwriters in soul and R&B music today. Born in Los Angeles, Robin Thicke taught himself to play piano at the age of 12 and by 16 was writing and producing songs for top R&B artists. At the age of 21, he had written and produced songs on over 20 gold and platinum albums including Michael Jackson, Marc Anthony, Pink, Christina Aguilera, Usher, Jennifer Hudson and others. One year later he signed with Jimmy Iovine and Interscope records. The musician and composer released his critically acclaimed debut album, A Beautiful World, in 2003 under the name Thicke. The collection was followed by a succession of five critically acclaimed gold and platinum selling album releases, including the track “Lost Without U” that spent 16 weeks at #1 on the radio chart. The “Blurred Lines” album debuted at #1 on Billboard Top 200 while, “Blurred Lines,” the single, continued its 12 week reign on the Billboard Hot 100 chart making Robin the first artist to take the top spot on both lists since December 2012.
