*What would you do if you found out that your new job at the local morgue came with some creepy activity and missing coworkers after a body from an exorcism gone wrong was delivered?
That’s what Shay Mitchell, I mean “Megan Reed” will have to figure out in her new movie, “The Possession of Hannah Grace.”
In this thriller, Shay Mitchell, most known as “Emily Fields” on the hit television series “Pretty Little Liars,” plays an ex cop (named Megan Reed). While on the job one night, Reed freezes up during a standoff and her partner is tragically shot and killed. In an attempt to break free from her depression and get back to a normal life, Reed takes on the job as Intake Assistant at her local hospital’s morgue.

It seems perfect at first- working completely alone at night helps her avoid the drinking and partying lifestyle that so often caused her to spiral out of control. All is well until one fateful night when the corpse of Hannah Grace is delivered. Her body is badly burned and twisted.
According to Hannah Grace’s file, her body was found in an alleyway, but once weird things start happening at the morgue, Reed decides to dig deeper and in doing so she finds out that Hannah Grace actually died three months ago during an exorcism.
Right there is the part when I probably would have called in sick the next day and not shown up to work anymore, but Reed feels that she ran from her problems once when she froze up during the standoff where her partner was killed, so she feels this is a challenge that she must solve for her sanity.
“The Possession of Hannah Grace” is the first lead role in a feature film for Shay Mitchell and after watching her for the entire duration of the “Pretty Little Liars” series, I could not have been more happy to interview her for this monumental point in her career. I even got her to open up about what it was like when Chris Brown very publicly took to social media to say that he was interested in pursuing her.
