*Beverly Hills, California – Motown friends and family come together this week, to enjoy one of the most anticipated bowling, concert, dining events of the season. The 11th Annual Friends of Fuller Gordy Strikefest, a fun-filled, family oriented, charity event, kicks off Wednesday, November 7, 2018.
Entertainment celebrities, business leaders and Motown Alumni will come together to celebrate the legacy Fuller Gordy, a Motown V.P. and older brother of Motown Founder, Berry Gordy, was known throughout the entertainment industry, as a caring humanitarian and mentor to many. A successful bowler, Gordy became the first Black Bowler, from Michigan, to be inducted into the Professional Bowlers Association.
Fuller’s daughter, Iris Gordy, a former Motown vice president, and granddaughter, Karla Gordy Bristol, a Beverly Hills Television, and social media talk show host, founded Friends of Fuller (FOF) “Strikefest.”
Friends of Fuller Gordy Strikefest, has been attended by celebrated individuals, including, The Supremes’ Mary Wilson, Teena Marie, Eric Benet, Debbie Allen, Al Jarreau, Obba Babatunde, Marilyn McCoo, Billy Davis, James Pickens, Jr., Freda Payne, Howard Hewitt, and several Gordy family members. Popular former Motown group Switch and former Stevie Wonder singer, Stephanie Spruill will be performing on the Strikefest Stage.

The organization is dedicated to honoring outstanding, yet unsung individuals and organizations, which educate, inspire and uplift. Their 2018 honoree is Little Miss African American Scholarship Pageant, founded by Ms. Lisa Ruffin.
Entertaining this year’s FOF Strikefest attendees will be the popular former Motown group, SWITCH, International recording and stage performer, Ms. Stephanie Spruill and others.
The 11th Annual Friends of Fuller Gordy Strikefest will be held at Corbin Bowl Tarzana, CA from 6:00PM – 11:00PM, with red carpet beginning at 5:30PM.
