Angela Simmons’ Ex-Fiance Sutton Tennyson Has Been Murdered in Atlanta – VIDEO

*We’ve got horrible news to report about Sutton Tennyson, the father of Angela Simmons‘ young son. Tennyson, who was shot and killed Saturday at his home.

Needless to say, Angela – the daughter of Rev. Run (RunDMC) and Justine Simmons – is reeling from the death of her ex-fiance. At first his death was thought to be the result of a home invasion robber, but Atlanta police now have updated info.

APD say they responded to a “shot fired” notification at Tennyson ‘s home. Officers found him dead in his garage around 4:30pm on Saturday with multiple gunshot wounds. It now seems it was NOT a home invasion as was first reported. Police now say Tennyson was talking in the driveway with another man when the conversation escalated and his was shot. The suspect fled in a car.

Simmons and Tennyson, 37, have a 2-year-old son, Sutton Jr., and with that she took some solace, saying, “Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift. I’m hurting. I’m numb.”

She added …

“Thank you for the outpouring of love everyone. I can’t believe I’m even saying Rest in Peace Sutton. I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise.”

Sutton and Angela called off their engagement in 2017.

In other news about Simmons and Tennyson, earlier this year in January we told you about the split between  Simmons and Tennyson and what may have been the reason or at least what contributed to it.

Perhaps the cryptic message she posted at the time was a clue:

Meanwhile, Bossip reported that during their relationship, Tennyson was dealing with a felony drug trafficking charge.

Police arrested Tennyson near the Los Angeles Airport in March 2015 and charged him with felony transportation and sale of marijuana, court records show. He fought the case until fairly recently when he made a deal with prosecutors and plead “no contest” to a misdemeanor weed trafficking charge, and was sentenced to 30 days community service and a suspended four-month jail sentence, according to the LA District Attorney’s Office.”

The case is now closed, but Tennyson is still fighting other legal battles. The Ford Motor Co. sued him in Sept. 2017 for breach of contract, alleging he stopped paying on his car lease. The company wants the balance due – about $3,200 – plus legal fees. Tennyson has yet to respond to the suit.

On the other hand, Tennyson moved back to the ATL and snapped up a four bedroom, 4,200 square foot McMansion for $431,000. In any event, check out the full story at Bossip.
