*The Democrats are hopingĀ Oprah Winfrey and Barack Obama will give gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams the edge she needs in her race against Ga. Secretary of State Brian Kemp.

The media mogul will reportedly campaign with Abrams on Nov. 1, by knocking on doors and holding two town hall meetings in Cobb County and DeKalb County ā€” areas that traditionally vote Republican.

Obama will hold a rally for Abrams at Forbes Arena on Morehouse College campus in Atlanta on Friday, Nov. 2 at 5 p.m.

In a statement to BuzzFeed News, Abrams said: ā€œI am honored to have Oprah join me for uplifting and honest conversations with voters about the clear choice before us in this election.ā€

As noted by The Hill, a poll from Fox 5-Atlanta released on Tuesday showed that Abrams is in a statistical tie with Kemp, who reportedly suppressed 300,000 registered voters whose registration forms contained errors.

A federal judge ruled last week that election officials must contact voters and offer them the chance to correct their forms.

Meanwhile, Abrams campaign has announced that Kemp has broken his promise to debate her on Nov. 4.

“This isnā€™t a surprise since his entire career has been defined by his failure to keep his commitments,” says her campaign manager.

Not only did he pull out of is last debate with Abrams at the last minute,Ā KempĀ lied and said Stacey pulled out. WSBTV – the network that was airing the debate, had to come forward to defend Abrams.

Over 300 domestic workers in Georgia are reportedly knocking on doors for Stacey Abrams, and many think they could be the key to her victory.
