*(HERMOSA BEACH, CA) – Believe Foundation and Take Five Production is excited to announce, A Tribute to the Queen – Aretha.” This exceptional event will be hosted by HB Barnum, who was Franklin’s long-time musical conductor on Sunday, November 4, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. This event will take place at the Hermosa Beach Community Theatre in Hermosa Beach, CA.

Aretha Franklin is undeniably was one of the most iconic voices in music history and a brilliant artist. Over the course of her decades-long career, she inspired countless musicians and fans and created a legacy that paved the way for a long line of strong female artists.

Her many countless classics include “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” “Chain Of Fools,”I Never Loved A Man (The Way I Love You)”; her own compositions “Think,” “Daydreaming” and “Call Me”; her definitive versions of “Respect” and “I Say A Little Prayer”; and global hits like “Freeway Of Love,” “Jump To It,” “I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me),” as well as her worldwide chart-topping duet with George Michael, and “A Rose Is Still A Rose.”

“American history wells up when Aretha sings and nobody embodies more fully the connection between the African-American spiritual, the blues, R&B, Rock’n’Roll – the way that hardship and sorrow were transformed into something full of beauty and vitality and hope,” says former President Barack Obama.

This one-time-only special event will be hosted by acclaimed producer, arranger and conductor H.B. Barnum spent 25 years as Aretha Franklin’s music director. He has worked with a few iconic singers during his career including Frank Sinatra, Count Basic, Lou Rawls, Etta James, Little Richard, along with Gladys Knight among other legendary performers. Also, HB’s LIFE Choir will perform as well.

Guest performers include singer and actress Freda Payne who is best known for her career in music during the mid–1960s through the mid–1980s. Ms. Payne most notable record is her 1970 hit single, “Band of Gold.” Payne was also an actress in musicals and film, as well as the host of a TV talk show.

Bonnie Pointer most notable for being a co-founding member of the GRAMMY Award-winning vocal group, The Pointer Sisters. Pointer scored several solo hits, including a disco cover of The Elgins’ “Heaven Must Have Sent You.”

Barbara Morrison a jazz artist known for a melodic voice and a three-and-a-half-octave range. She interprets a familiar jazz and blues classics repertoire in a unique style and also sings original contemporary tunes.

Tata Vega an R&B and contemporary vocalist whose career spans theater, film, and a variety of musical genres.

Toni Malone has written over 150 songs and has performed with award-winning celebrated artists which include Patti La Belle, Gloria Estevan, Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, The Whispers, Barry White, Aloe Blacc, John Legend, Neal Diamond, and Stevie Wonder along with Nancy Wilson Also, Ms. Malone has performed with Whitney Houston in Paris while headlining  the musical show FAME.
