*Wanda Sykes says she’s over the moon about Bill Cosby’s imprisonment, telling SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy” that the disgraced comic is a hypocrite who got what he deserved.
According to New York Daily News, Sykes also shared what went down when she had a run-in with Cosby at an award ceremony.
“We had a little incident at the Emmys one year,” she said, recalling how she struck up a conversation with the disgraced star, who was seated behind Larry David at the Emmy Awards.
“You know, Larry makes up stuff on his show, you didn’t make up things on your show did you, Dr. Cosby?” she asked Cosby. “He said ‘No, but we also spoke English.’”

Wanda was annoyed by the flip response and thought to herself at the time that Cosby himself was guilty of perpetuating negative stereotypes through his 1970s cartoon, “Fat Albert.”
“Okay. ‘Fat Albert.’ Yeah. Right,” she told SiriusXM host Andy Cohen. “The guy who brought us the most offensive characters for African Americans in history, since ‘Amos and Andy.’”
Sykes also wasn’t surprised that Cosby went to prison last month for allegedly drugging and sexually abusing women.
“That’s your role model?” she said. “Drug women and rape them?”
Wanda says she heard stories about his perverted behavior from the stand-up circuit.
“It was a thing in comedy clubs, that he was, you know, with a lot of the waitresses and stuff like that…” she said.
Sykes believes Cosby “got what he deserved” and it’s too bad the law didn’t catch up with him sooner.
Meanwhile, when it comes to the latest Megyn Kelly controversy, where the NBC host said it’s okay for white people to wear blackface if it was part of a costume, Wanda has this to say:
“Dear white people, Blackface is never, never… there is not even a dimension or world where that can be correct. Don’t even do it.”
