Outrageous & Shocking GOP Radio Ad Warns Blacks of Return of ‘Lynchings’ Under Dems – LISTEN

*Here’s a welcome surprise from a Republican. On Thursday, Congressman French Hill (pictured above in the video player) of Arkansas publicly condemned a controversial radio ad that supports his Congressional re-election bid, but warns black voters of lynchings and a return to “bad old days” under Democrats.

The ad – aired in heavily black populated areas of Arkansas – was paid for by a North Carolina based political action committee called Black Americans for the President’s Agenda. The PAC is “dedicated to the policy initiatives of President Trump,” according to the group’s website. In any event, the advert features two women (presumed to be black) speaking about the accusations of sexual misconduct against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

One of them says: “If the Democrats can do that to a white justice of the Supreme Court with no evidence, no corroboration and all of her witnesses including her best friend saying it didn’t happen, what will happen to our fathers, our husbands or our sons when a white girl lies on them?”

The other woman responds with: “Girl, white Democrats will be lynching black folk again.”

The ad continues: “We can’t afford to let white Democrats take us back to bad old days of race verdicts, life sentences and lynchings when a white girl screams rape.”

Hill, who is running against Democratic State Rep. Clarke Tucker, called the radio spot “appalling.” And he’s right. “Apalling” is putting it mildly. He went on to say …

“I condemn this outrageous ad in the strongest terms,” Hill said via his campaign’s official Twitter account Thursday. “I do not support that message, and there is no place in Arkansas for this nonsense.”

Meanwhile, Tucker tweeted that the ad is “disgraceful & has no place in our society.”

“Rep. Hill & his allies will have to live with the kind of campaign they’re running … We won’t let these shameful tactics distract us from our fight to stand up for the people in #AR02 on the critical issues in our lives,” Tucker said.

As far as the Black Americans for the President’s Agenda PAC, according to the Arkansas Times, it’s supposedly run by a North Carolina man named Vernon Robinson. In an interview with Vice News’ Alexandra Jaffe, Robinson said he had no intention of taking the advertisement down and said there was another one coming out.

Robinson paid a little less than $50,000 to run the ad on radio stations in St. Louis, Kansas City and Little Rock, according to Vice.

“All it is is hard-hitting. I believe the #metoo movement deserves every hit they take,” Vernon told Vice. “Shifting the presumption of innocence to the presumption of guilt is very dangerous for black men.”
