*The Katt man, Katt Williams, has gone and gotten himself busted again. He was arrested for an alleged assault in Portland, Oregon.
A TMZ report says the funnyman allegedly attacked the driver of a town car that was supposed to take him to the Moda Center Friday night after an argument about transporting his dog … according to the police report.
Cops say the driver sustained minor injuries to the face — including swelling and cuts — and was treated at a local hospital. Katt left the scene of the alleged assault in another vehicle.
Portland police were able to locate Katt Saturday morning to investigate the incident and arrested him. Oregonlive.com reported that Williams, whose real name is Micah Sierra, “was lodged in Multnomah County Jail, where he remained in custody Saturday afternoon. He was also being held on a warrant from Georgia.”
The comedian was arrested by Port of Portland police and booked for misdemeanor assault Saturday. His bail’s been set at $2,500.
Williams was scheduled to be a part of Nick Cannon’s ‘Wild ‘N Out Live’ concert at the Moda Center Friday night. Interestingly, he was at the venue at some point, but never made the show.
It was back in April that Williams was accused of assault when a waiter in Georgia claimed the comedian caused severe injuries to his face when he hurled a glass salt shaker at him. That could be why he’s being held in the Multnomah County jail on a warrant from Georgia
