‘The Real’: Fri-Yay! ‘New York Week’ Edition Plus GREENLEAF’s Keith David

the real - fri-yay

*On Friday, October 5, The Real celebrates Fri-Yay! “New York Week” style by inviting our Real fam from NYC to stop by a designated location in the city to speak with the hosts live via satellite and weigh in on topics during “Girl Chat: Hey We’re Chattin’ Here!”

Today, New York fans chat with the ladies about first date bailouts, inappropriate weddings songs, and the appeal of liquor shots.  Then, Adrienne accidentally learns what Loni doesn’t like in her cocktails.

Then, Keith David returns to The Real to discuss Season 3 of Greenleaf and share a story about an awkward encounter with a fan having a very strong opinion of his character, “Bishop James Greenleaf.”

And, with October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, Loni Love expresses the importance of self-examinations and early detection.

Loni Love: You can dance to “My Heart Will Go On.”

Adrienne Houghton: How you gonna dance to “My Heart Will Go On”?

Jeannie Mai: How are you gonna dance to “My Heart Wil Go On”?

Tamera Mowry-Housley: Make a slow dance. A slow dance.

Loni: Yes, a slow dance.

Tamera: Well, I think you gotta have a balance.

Tamera: I actually have my fortieth birthday party, I had some pretty good…

Jeannie: Yeah.

Adrienne: *sneezes*

Tamera: Oh, bless you!

Adrienne: I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry! Sorry! Sorry! I can’t control that!

Jeannie: You gotta sanitize that. That’s so nasty!

Adrienne: That’s not my fault!

Loni: Guys, she just sneezed in my drink.

Adrienne: I’m sorry! Guys!

Jeannie: Oh my God! That is so…

Adrienne: I can’t control that!

Jeannie: You gotta dab on it.

Adrienne: I can’t feel it coming on!

Jeannie: Turn your head! Like, dab over here!

Tamera: Or just sneeze in your arm.

Adrienne: I don’t know that it’s coming! It just comes out! I’m sorry.

Tamera: It’s okay.

Jeannie: Let me make you another one, I’m so sorry.

Loni: It’s, it’s fine. *laughs*

Tamera: It’s okay.

Adrienne: So sorry about that.

Loni: *laughs* It’s okay!
