WATCH Serena Williams Sings ‘I Touch Myself’ in Breast Cancer Awareness Video

*Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is October, is upon us. And helping to get the word out is none-other that Serena Williams. The mom of one actually sings in a music video that promotes breast self-exams

Williams is participating in the “I Touch Myself Project” to help get the word out about examining your own breasts for lumps and other suspicious signs of breast cancer.

Williams, 37, appears topless in a music video singing the lyrics to the Divinyls‘ 1990 hit song as she touches her breasts.

The “I Touch Myself Project” was launched after Divinyls front woman Chrissy Amphlett died of breast cancer in 2014 at age 53.

Breast cancer rates are climbing steadily, particularly among Black women. It’s estimated that 30% of newly diagnosed cancers will be breast cancer.

Here’s a fact: Breast cancer is more prevalent among Black women than any other race or ethnicity.

Detecting breast cancer early is the best hope for successful treatment.

*In other Serena Williams news, it was only recently that some folks were worried if Williams could shake off her loss to Naomi Osaka at the US Open. Well, not only has she shook off the loss it seems, she’s out there shakin’ what he momma gave her on “Lip Sync Battle.”

Yep, Serena was seen not only shaking that thang, but droppin’ it low while impersonating Beyonce performing her hit single “Sorry” (off her Lemonade album). BTW, did you know that Serena was in the music video for “Sorry?”

As we alluded to up top, Serena had a rough patch after losing to Naomi Osaka at the US Open. It was a match laced in controversy after Williams was docked a game after getting into it with the umpire. Then she had to suffer the indignanty of an Australian paper, The Herald Sun, publishing a crazy azz racist cartoon of her.

Well, that was then. Time heals and Serena is out there droppin’ it low for the world to see. Watch it “go down” above.
