*Adrienne Bailon, 34, has opened up about her struggle to start a family.“
Everybody doesn’t get pregnant right away,” the actress and singer revealed on Tuesday’s episode of “The Real.” “I think for myself, I thought it would happen so easily for me. It just hasn’t happened that way.”
Bailon’s husband, Gospel star Israel Houghton,47, is already father to four children: Mariah, Jordan, Israel and Milan. The couple married in 2016 and It’s unclear how long they have been trying for a baby, Page Six reports.
“I have had to come to peace that it will happen when it’s God’s timing and I believe in that and I have faith in all of that,” she added. “But, it can be really discouraging and it can be really frustrating.”
Ballon says it’s insensitive when people question if she’s pregnant or not.
“I think I looked at myself and in my mind I was like, ‘I’m a Cheetah Girl. I’m 19 years old,’” Bailon said. “I woke up and was like, ‘Actually I’m going to be 35 in a few weeks. That makes a big difference. I can feel as youthful as I want on the inside and in my heart, but my ovaries are what they are.”
Meanwhile, MTO News learned that the producers of “The Real” are planning on making a major cast shakeup and that Tamera Mowry is on the chopping block.
According to a person with knowledge of production, the show is looking to add a “Conservative” voice to the panel of women.
“The show’s ratings have been slipping and [producers] are going to try and shake things up,” said the insider.
Adding: “Everyone on the cast is a liberal democrat, so there’s rarely any political or social debates. [Producers] want a friendly debate.”
But the publicist for “The Real” tells eurweb.com exclusively that rumors about Tamera being fired are “absolutely, 100% not true.”
