Watch: Usain Bolt Races Astronauts in Zero-gravity Race

*Former Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt took part in a race against astronauts in zero gravity on September 13.

The Olympic legend challenged the laws of science on board an Airbus Zero-G aircraft above France, as a part of a commercial sponsorship promoted by Champagne producer Mumm, Newsweek reports.

His challengers were French astronaut Jean-Francois Clervoy (in the blue flight suit) and CEO of Novespace and French Interior designer Octave de Gaulle (in the black), TMZ reports.

Unsurprisingly, the eight-time Olympic gold medallist secured the win.

“A kid in a candy store, that’s how I felt,” Bolt told reporters after the race. “For me, it was just fun.

“It’s running in a different type of atmosphere, it means that you are like on the Moon. It’s no worries, do you know what I mean?

“It’s so different. At first, when you get into that mode, your mind is blowing, so for me it was outstanding.”

TMZ reports that Bolt celebrated by popping open a bottle of Mumm Grand Cordon Stellar; de Gaulle designed the fancy bottle reportedly designed for use by future space tourists.
