*What is Malina Moye up to these days? Well, the talented lefty guitar rocker phenom, who is bad as she wanna be, has already shown that she is a talented singer, songwriter and left-handed guitar player, after all, Guitar World Magazine did name her as one of the ten female guitarists in the world to know.
Far be it from her to be seen as one or even two-dimensional. Malina has decided to showcase another talent; acting and will be making her big screen debut in the independent film, “The Samuel Project.”
In the film, which is set to be released on September 28, 2018, Malina will play Violet Leroux, a bohemian art director who befriends an outcast teen and his isolated grandfather. Marc Fusco directs the film, opposite topliners Hal Linden and Ryan Ochoa. The film centers on Eli (Ochoa), a teen who, for a school art project, gets to know his Jewish grandfather Samuel (Linden), who was rescued from Nazi capture as a young boy.

Malina, in addition to acting in the film, also penned the song “Enough” for the motion picture. Her album “Bad As I Wanna Be,” which includes the song “Enough,” spent two weeks in May 2018 at Number 1 on Billboard’s Blues Album chart.

After the release of “The Samuel Project,” Malina will begin touring, headlining The Bad As I Wanna Be Tour, which will begin in the U.S. before going to the UK, France and Germany.
