*Dallas, TX – On September 3, Marcus Parker author, and motivational poet also known as “M-Positive” will be crossing the milestone of his 44th birthday ending a long string of recent 4s surrounding his life. For Marcus, who suffered a laundry list of failures starting with the tragedy of 9-11, which caused him to lose his stock market investment, also dealt with bankruptcy, foreclosures and repossessions, the thought of change in life was very welcomed.
Mr. Parker, who usually displays a rather infectious positive attitude admits that at times he could not see the light at the end of the tunnel. He also states that losing everything that he had worked for was actually a turning point in his life and allowed him to refocus himself and bounce back from the ashes of the turmoil in his life.
So as fate would have it, the numbers 4, 4 and 4 kept circling around in his head and gave Marcus an unrealistic sense of optimism for pushing forward and as he states, it gave him a platform to really motivate others with his life story. You see, who would have ever thought that a man could go from a place of suicidal thoughts to seeing the brightest of futures right before his eyes. This year Marcus completed his 4-year degree from the University of North Texas and also the same year that his Spotify playlist was created containing 44 of his motivational rap songs.
He also just recently released his 4th book called “ Find the Lie and Fix the Problem”- A tool for emotional healing. If that is not enough he also watched his family grow as his wife gave birth to his 4th child in March of this year. If this series of coincidences doesn’t amaze you, Marcus also served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, released his first book in 2004. Oddly enough, that same book made it to the Dallas morning news bestseller list in 2005 with none other than Barack Obama who years later became the 44th U.S. President.
For Marcus, who has seen the best and worst of life, first hand, the symbols of the 4s which he learned represented a heightened level of spirituality or a connection with angels has served as confirmation of a beautiful future.
Now living with the lessons from the past as well as the strength he gained during the journey, M – Positive is ready to make a transition in life from promoting his own books, and music, to playing a role behind the scenes and use his life coaching certification as well as his new rehabilitation degree to help build, promote and market others, particularly individuals living with disability.
