*It’s been over a decade since Shaquille O’Neal and his ex Shaunie called it quits, but that didn’t stop the NBA superstar from taking to Instagram in a suit and proclaiming: “This is the same suit I’m wearing when I marry @shaunieoneal5.”
The 46-year-old Hall of Famer just launched a suit line through JCPenney for big and tall men, and he showed some love to his ex while promoting the collaboration.
Shaunie commented on the picture by saying, “Actually this suit is more fitting for next seasons star of The Bachelor on @abcnetwork #justsayin #wedidthatalready”
The former couple married in 2002 and reportedly split up in 2009 due to his cheating ways. They have since been co-parenting their kids Shareef, Amirah, Shaqir, and Mearah and often are photographed together at family events.
The former Los Angeles Laker confessed to his infidelities in his memoir, writing: “At one time my ex-wife Shaunie and I were happy, but I admit it–I was a guy. I was a guy with too many options. Choosing to be with some of those women, well, that’s on me. In my mind, I never did it disrespectfully, but obviously, I shouldn’t have done it all.”
Shaunie responded to his cheating by: “I went in the arena, and I went in that garage, not only did I flatten tires, bust a few windows, I wrote on the hood of his car, ‘I cheat on my wife. I ain’t sh*t’ with a knife.”

Now, Shaq is claiming he wants to get back with his ex-wife but some fans are telling Shaunie to run away from the serial cheater.
One fan said: “Right after she’s made good for herself… didn’t buckle under pressure…. while remaining respectable. Girl doesn’t be any fool. Don’t fall for it girl. Remember why he left in the first place.”
Another shared: “That would be great! I hope he does cause only one damn woman on that show is an actual “basketball wife” Y’all should do a show together focused around y’all trying to work it out. I’d pay to see that. They are wonderful the way they are. They are clowning around together with the kids. The love is there, no ring or papers needed this time. Please Go Get Your Wife Back. Children. Fellow teammates. It’s plenty of ppl who can handle that task. Just hope they eat they Wheaties that day.”
This person claimed: “How cute all you have left is the suit, beautiful children and great memories of the best thing that happened to you @shaunieoneal5 is, was & will forever be a classy & beautiful lady… Hopefully, you can make PJs too so you can sleep in it & dream about your ex & also have nightmares of how you lost a Fabulous woman@shaunieoneal5.”
This supporter had this to add: “Maybe the second time around will be better than the first. I will never forget the MTV cribs when you said you “loved him to death.” When you realize how much of a boss your wife was They say you never miss your water until your well runs dry. This is the right thing to do. You don’t give a woman five children then decide oh I’ want to be single again.. that’s not Jesus, but you haven’t been walking with him that’s why you haven’t been knowing the difference between right and wrong .”
