*CNN political commentator April Ryan has come up with a wild theory regarding Omarosa Manigault Newman and Aretha Franklin.
Ryan, the White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks, believes Omarosa floated the rumor that Donald Trump used the “N-word” in order to take attention away from Franklin’s death.
The Queen of Soul died last Thursday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. As noted by Celebrity Insider, around that same time, Manigault Newman’s book, “Unhinged,” was getting ready for publication, so she dropped the claim that Trump is a racist who likes to use the N-word.
Ryan said to the Hollywood Reporter that Omarosa did so because “Aretha Franklin didn’t want her at her birthday party.”
So, according to Ms. Ryan, Omarosa pushed this N-word story because Franklin dissed her?

Ryan believes the release of “Unhinged” is evidence of just how “vindictive Omarosa is.”
The long-time rivals both have books out right now, with Omarosa’s memoir, released on Aug. 14, selling 34,000 copies its first week, USA Today reported.
“We don’t trust her. She has done a lot of dirt, and people don’t forget,” Ryan added.
Meanwhile, Ryan has had to hire a personal bodyguard after receiving death threats for criticizing the Trump administration and she blames White House press secretary Sarah Sanders for the vilification of her as a reporter.
“Oh, I get approached a lot, when I’m walking from my car, when I’m walking to my car, when I eat. Anywhere I go. I mean, they have put a target on my head, and I don’t know who’s who sometimes,” Ryan said in an interview published Tuesday by the Hollywood Reporter.
“I’ve had death threats. I’ve had craziness … Do I have a bodyguard? Yes, I do. Am I paying for it? Yes, I am. And, I think [White House press secretary Sarah Sanders] should have to pay for it, especially if she’s stirring it up with her boss,” she added.
Ryan, who is promoting her forthcoming book “Under Fire: Reporting from the Front Lines of the Trump White House,” did not state why her employer is not covering the costs.
According to Ryan, Sanders is planning her “elegant exit” from the White House in the coming days.
