*In an exclusive clip previewing Thursday’s episode of “Braxton Family Values,” Toni Braxton admits that she hasn’t planned anything for her upcoming nuptials to Birdman.
“There’s not a date. There’s not a color scheme that’s etched in stone; there’s nothing,” she tells her mom, Evelyn, in the clip. “I haven’t picked the dress yet, even, ma.”
She explains that it’s been challenging trying to plan her big day because of their hectic schedules, ESSENCE reports.
“He’s part of the problem,” Braxton says of her fianceé. “He’s very busy if not more busy than I am so I have not set a date for the wedding yet.”
If she had it her way, Braxton would wed in Los Angeles at the “end of August.”

To further complicate the issue, the Grammy Award winner also feels her sisters are “not helping enough.”
But her mother points out that perhaps they haven’t helped because Braxton hasn’t started planning.
“It’s not even about that,” the singer replies in the clip. “It’s not that they’re not helping, it’s just that they’re not helping big enough.”
Earlier this year, Braxton and Birdman confirmed their engagement after rumors and speculation that the rapper had popped the question. They began dating in 2016.
This will be her second marriage as she divorced musician Keri Lewis in 2013 after 12 years of marriage.
“Braxton Family Values” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on WEtv.
