*Omarosa Manigault Newman has been hitting the press trail hard to promote her new book “Unhinged” — from spilling the tea on morning talk shows, releasing scandalous tapes and slamming Donald Trump for being a racist who uses the N-word, folks are talking about it but they literally ain’t really buying what she’s selling.
According to reports, it seems her clever PR tricks and controversial accusations weren’t enough to push her memoir to the top of the sales charts.
“Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House” is officially on bookshelves now but it’s only fifth on Amazon’s Best Seller list and in fourth place on Barnes & Noble’s list, Fortune reported.

The publication compared that to eight months ago when Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury” quickly became the bestselling nonfiction release in five years. Then James Comey’s “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies and Leadership” dropped in April and the publisher ordered 850,000 copies to meet the demand.
So what’s keeping “Unhinged” from topping the charts?
One theory is that white folks refuse to buy the book and help a Black woman profit by spinning so-called half-truths about their beloved white hero.
Another theory, folks are burned out by all these political tell-alls. It could also be that many are totally over the controversy surrounding previous books about Trump’s administration.
While “Unhinged” is hardly a flop, folks aren’t exactly burning to read it.

Meanwhile, inquiring minds wanna know if Omarosa banned from CNN?
Folks are asking because she has been hawking “Unhinged,” on rival NBC, MSNBC and everywhere else it seems, but CNN. That’s right, she hasn’t been able to book an appearance on CNN.
“Don Lemon was offered one of the first cable interviews and passed,” an insider told Page Six.
We heard she was also scheduled to appear on Jake Tapper’s “State of the Union” on Sunday, bu higher ups at the network botched it.
Page Six says another source said CNN was initially only interested in booking commentators who would trash-talk the reality-show vixen.
“They only wanted to book guests with nothing positive to say about her. They were specifically looking for people who would provide a more negative slant when discussing Omarosa,” the source said.
