*According to MTO News, a VH1 producer has spilled the tea on the upcoming season of “Love & Hip Hop New York,” and apparently there’s been a massive shake-up with the cast.
Executive producer Mona Scott-Young wants some fresh faces to help revive the poor ratings and bad reception of previous seasons.
The cast has reportedly been scaled back “due to fights, not enough storyline, unnecessary fighting/lack of dialogue, or for being boring and uninteresting.”

Executives approached three fan favorites from previous seasons, according to the report:

3. Kimbella
Maino and his girlfriend Maggie Carrie are also joining the cast, along with Dave East and his girlfriend Millie.
