*British actress Sian Blake, who gained prominence from her brief stint on “EastEnders,” and her two young sons, Zachary, 8, Amon, 4, were found dead after they went missing. Scotland Yard confirmed the bodies of the three were found buried in the backyard of their family home.

Her boyfriend, Arthur Simpson-Kent, was named the prime suspect in their disappearance and had fled to Africa after being questioned by police. Sian’s family had accused the 48-year-old of domestic violence in the weeks leading up to the murders, and her sister said that the actress was planning to leave him.

“I want him to face justice and explain why. It’s my nephews more than anything,” she said. “My brother is angry. My cousins are angry…They are angry about Sian, but the boys have devastated us. We have lost a generation. We can never replace them.”

Police removed the bodies of the victims from the home of Blake on January 5 in London. The former “EastEnders” actress played Frankie Pierre in the soap between 1996 and 1997, and more recently had been suffering from Motor Neurone Disease. Simpson-Kent reported her missing and later fled the city.

Page Six reports that subsequent post-mortem examinations revealed Sian and her boys died as a result of head and neck injuries.

Police in Ghana tracked down and arrested Arthur on Saturday on a beach in the west African country.

“The suspect has been arrested by police and I can confirm his identity,” a police spokesman said. “He was at a hideout in Western Region. With the kind of collaboration between the police and public that we have, we managed to nab him there.”

In a statement released in London, Scotland Yard said they had been “made aware of an arrest in Ghana” and were working alongside Ghanaian authorities.

British authorities have not yet formally requested the extradition of Simpson-Kent, under Ghanaian law he cannot be held for longer than 48 hours without a court hearing, per The Guardian.

Scotland Yard detectives traveled to Ghana to formally identify the suspect before planned extradition proceedings. The Metropolitan Police said on Sunday that an extradition application would be submitted “in due course”.
