*Not only will Cardi B have more time to spend with her new baby, after pulling out of her opening slot on Bruno Mars’ upcoming tour, but the rapper can also fill that time with discounted chips and guac from Chipotle.
Cardi took to Instagram Thursday to announce her departure from Mars’ tour to take additional time to recover “mentally and physically” from her July 11 delivery of daughter, Kulture, with husband Offset.
“I underestimated this whole mommy thing,” wrote the hit rapper, whose “I Like It” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin recently topped the Billboard Hot 100. “I hope you guys understand. This have been such a hard decision. I want to thank @brunomars for understanding.”
Mars in return also sent a message via social media, writing, “Most important thing is you and your family’s health. You are absolutely doing the right thing. … We love you Cardi and will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor.”

The trek was due to kick off on Sept. 7 at Denver, Colorado’s Pepsi Center and hit arenas across North America. So far, no word on who might replace Cardi in the opening slot.
Meanwhile, Chipotle has hitched its wagon to the Cardi train, taking advantage of their mention in her bars on the Jennifer Lopez/DJ Khaled track “Dinero.”
Last week, the rapper posted a briefcase filled with stacks of free chips and guacamole cards from the restaurant chain on her Instagram story.

The chain restaurant confirmed to The Daily Meal that the idea for the present came from her “Dinero” lyrics. “Look, they gon’ do what I say so, Cardi B and J.Lo/ Talk behind my back, but never up in my face, though/ I just want my money, chips, guac and queso/ Y’all can kiss my ass, dame un beso,” she raps.
“We hear you Cardi B. Here’s all the chips, guac, and queso. The most precious dinero,” reads Chipotle’s special message inside the briefcase.
“When we first heard Cardi B’s lyrics in ‘Dinero’ about just wanting that chips, gauc and queso, it obviously resonated! We just so happen to also think that guac is the best green around, so we thought it would be fun to fill a pelican case with free chips and guac cards to set her up for a very, very long time,” a representative for Chipotle relayed to The Daily Meal.
